蜀汉-直百五铢 the Zhi Bai Five Coin of Shu Han
In the 19th year of the Jian’an era, “Zhi Bai Wuzhu” coins were cast, with a monetary value equivalent to 100 “Wu Zhu” coins. Both “Zhi Bai Wuzhu” and “Wuzhu” coins feature a round shape with square holes, but “Zhi Bai Wuzhu” has a more diverse design. While retaining the seal-script “Wuzhu” on the obverse side, it also adds the regular-script “five hundred”. On the reverse side of the “Zhi Bai Wuzhu” coins from Shu Han, there may be inskript like “wei”, “yu” and “tian”.
